Thy Kingdom Come

A superb resource from 'Thy Kingdom Come'
Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

An 11 day up-to-Pentecost daily reading and reflection. I read them all. It uses The Lord’s Prayer, line by line with commentary and reflection from contributors (including the previous chaplain to the House of Commons - how did she ever put up with John Bercow as Speaker!? (though he is actually my favourite ever 'Marmite' figure). Pastoral care almost certainly took over her evangelical roots from The Church Army - although she will be well armed.
I like the focus on the word OUR in Our Father, and have yet to find another commentary talk about the ‘Daily Bread’ as being sufficient to meet ones needs...it wasn’t in this either.
