Incredible meeting with Mark. I went well prepared after he suggested the topics for conversation in advance.

We went through the competencies framework, (G.6) we were both surprised/encouraged by the evidence against most. There was some conversation about my ‘tigger’ like mood. That's not to say lots of ups and downs...more 'boing boing'.

We’re both really excited about the next steps and we both agreed Frank is a legend.

We had a shared reflection on the learning section and the child-like response to seeing connections in scripture. There was also a gentle moment of appreciation where I reflected upon Margie’s rock-like support.  Mark’s really excited about the journey's progress and next steps. So am I. I can't actually put it into words - that will have to get resolved.

There's something very special about sharing 'God moments'.

I shared with Margie 3 things:

1) Her mum needs an update. It will not come as a surprise this is happening, but she will want to know before it becomes more widely known.

2) When (if!) I start training I need to leave everything at the door,  Neatly packed up in a waterproof bag...but left nonetheless, I can collect and sort through when I finish. What a wonderful analogy.

3) My big V...is a P for People.

I also emailed our Superintendent to seek permission to reach out to the person i/c matters at a District level. C.2 is still sat as a draft (though circulated), undiscussed. She approved that approach. Brace. Brace:

C2...
I received a somewhat mysterious email from our Superintendent re: C2. I think there’s been a misunderstanding along the way with what I mean by ‘local context’. I’m thinking this. I’ve sent the draft form to a few folk (as suggested in the guidance) and wait to hear...will nudge
