I had my second DOV 1 meeting with the wonderful Mark. We shared in God-centred fellowship and sought further clarity re: calling and vocation. It was superb. Our match is a blessing and a gift in itself. I come away with further clarity, affirmation of call and supportive guidance.

Further thoughts to this:

God for All, House Shopping, Superintendent Meeting.
Margie sent me a link to a house. It wasn’t serious, the last time she did that we bought it! She’s open to options though - the house we’re in now is spectacular, too big, too expensive...but lovely. I’d like to hold on to it if we can. I

Think 20 years ago and the preacher who stood up and claimed the benefits of God for All and the welcoming and blessing of same sex relationships would have felt as nervous doing so as the preacher who stands up today and preaches against.  20 years...it’s nothing.  It’s the amount of time I’ve been in the north.  The congregation hasn’t actually changed.  My naivety is being balanced by reflection. It is so difficult.
